Labdanum is one of perfumery's oldest resins, once combed from the beards of goats grazing on Cretan cistus, and it smells like a warm neck under a heavy coat. Leather and vanilla turn it into a masked ball where nobody asks for names. Wait for the moment the masks come off and the music fades.

The mask goes on early. Cistus and patchouli open the evening, earthy and resinous, like a salon with heavy curtains where someone has just switched off the main light. Then comes leather, smooth and warm, while coumarin adds a sweetness of hay and toasted nuts that keeps you in the room longer than planned.

At the base, cashmere wood, labdanum and vanilla cling to everything they touch. This is the candle for an intimate party, a dinner in low light and a date where nobody wants to be the first to take off the mask.
