Picture a kitchen in December, a tray of nuts just out of the oven and the coffee pot rattling on the stove. That is exactly how the room smells after the first half hour of burning.

Orange peel brings a bright little smile, while vanilla ties everything into a warm sweetness that never turns syrupy. Light it on a weekend morning, when breakfast stretches into lunch and nobody has any intention of getting dressed.
